Hello everyone and welcome back to the blog! Today I have a review for you. But before even starting. Happy Book Birthday to The Bookworm Crush!

And now without further ado, let’s start with the review.

Goodreads Synopsis:

This spinoff of The Replacement Crush featuring Amy and Toff is sure to melt your heart.

Shy bookworm Amy McIntyre is about to compete for a dream scholarship, and the only way to win is to transform from sidekick to the heroine of her own life. But that level of confidence has never come easy.

The solution? A competition coach. The problem? The best person for the job is the guy she’s secretly crushing on…local surfer celebrity Toff Nichols.

He’s a player. He’s a heartthrob. He makes her forget basic things, like how to breathe. How can she feel any confidence around him?

To her surprise, Toff agrees to help. And he’s an excellent teacher. Amy feels braver—maybe even brave enough to admit her feelings for him. When their late night practices become less about coaching and more about making out, Amy’s newfound confidence wavers.

But does Toff really like her or is this just another lesson?

I knew that I had to request a copy of this book once I’ve got the email by Entangled Teen. The cover looked amazing and the synopsis promising. It didn’t disappoint. That’s all I have to say before we move on to a more detailed review!

What I liked

This wouldn’t be me writing this review if I didn’t talk about the writing style. It was amazing. Easy to read, easy to get through and this book was so fast-paced that you can easily finish it in a few days or even on the same day if you have nothing else to do. But don’t do that! This book is so good you need to read it slowly so that it will never be over! Unfortunately, the end came pretty fast.

I also loved the storyline. I mean of course as a bookworm you can be pretty sure, that I will pick up a book if there’s the word bookworm or something else related to it. And you can also be sure that I will at least like the novel. I’m glad that I did because the idea of this book was amazing and I loved every single thing! The romance was perfect, the characters were great, everything was relatable and it was such a cute book! So sad that it’s over but I will read more by Lisa Brown Roberts in the future. The Bookworm Crush won’t stay the only book!

The Bookworm Crush is the perfect book for us bookworms and that’s why it’s worth more than 5 stars!

Favorite Character

Overall, this is the perfect book for you if you are an avid bookworm like everyone in this book blogging community. If you liked The Bookish Life of Nina Hill by Nina Waxman then you will also love The Bookworm Crush!
