Everything I did in July |Wrap-up

Hello everyone and welcome back to the blog! How are you all today I hope good! Today is the first day of the Disney-a-thon and the N.E.W.T.s and I’m so excited!!! But this isn’t the topic of the day.

Today I have my monthly wrap-up for you guys but only of my books because I forgot to keep track of TV shows and podcasts. Unfortunately I’ve listened to a lof of podcasts in July but as I completely forgot to keep track I can’t share these with you. So it will be a rather short wrap-up for July. I will do better next time I promise.

📖 What I lick Before Your Face …. and Other Haikus by Dogs by Jamie Coleman – 128 pages – ebook – 5/5 stars

I read this one in one sitting and OMG it was so cute!!! It was a library copy and I will definitely buy my own copy of this book once I find it at my local bookstore.

📖 Das Dorf der toten Herzen by Augustin Martinez – 400 pages – Paperback – review copy* – 4/5 stars – German Review

I won a copy of this book on the german equivalent of Goodreads, Lovelybooks.de. It was a great surprise and I really loved it. It’s the sort of psychological thriller that I enjoy and I will definitely read more books by this author. I already published my german review on Goodreads and Lovelybooks and I will also publish it here once I finished translating my review into English. So stay tuned for that!

📖 The Storm Crow by Kalyn Josephson – 368 pages – ebook – review copy* – 5/5 stars – Review

I am so thankful for the chance that I got to read this book. It’s one of my favourite books of the year 2019 and I’m so glad that FFBC chose me to read this for their blog tour. Storm Crow was perfection and if you missed my review, please don’t forget to check it out because the book was honestly amazing and you need to read it! (Well you don’t but I advise you to read it ASAP).

📖 They Both Die at the End by Adam Silvera – 368 pages – paperback – 4/5 stars

I finally managed to finish this book! I don’t know when I started it but it was definitely a while ago. So after my exams I decided to pick it up again and finally managed to finish it. It was great but I was still a bit disappointed by it. Stay tuned for the review.

📖 Before I Disappear by Danielle Stinson – 320 pages – ebook – review copy* – 4/5 stars – Review

I got the chance to read this book for the blog tour and I really liked it. A bit boring towards the end but it was still a good book and I’d recommend it to you if you enjoyed King’s Under the Dome.

📖 Nous les menteurs by E.Lockhart (We were liars) – 336 pages – paperback – 2.5/5 stars

I was so disappointed by this book. We were Liars was so hyped that I wanted more of the things I didn’t get. I didn’t find it great and I’m really angry at myself that I bought this book.

📖 Truly Madly Royally by Debbie Rigaud – 304 pages – ebook – review copy* – 5/5 stars – Review

This was such a fun and cute read and I want more of it. Truly Madly Royally reminded me so much of the Princess Diaries series that I felt nostalgic at some times. My review is linked above.

In total I’ve read 7 books, 3 paperbacks and 4 ebooks. In total I’ve also read 4 review copies. This makes 2224 pages.

What about you? How many books did you read in July.

*A copy of this book was sent to me in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts are my own.
